You Are Tutley Awesome

Here is my 3rd and final card for my July class.

The background was water colored on fabulous Color Splash Sheets with Journey Turbo Teal Splash and Cool Pool Splash.

The stamp set is FSJ Turtley Awesome. This set also comes with matching Dies. The images were stamped with the clear pigment pad and heat set with white embossing powder.

They were then all colored in using fusion reinkers and blending solution and a fine detail blender brush. It's amazing how you can color and shade just with the amount of blending solution that you use.

Turbo Teal Silk was splattered over the paper before adding turtle, sentiment and Journey Lemongrass Thread.

The turtle was then covered with a clear glaze, and popped up for dimension. A few Blue Skies sequins were used to finish off the card.

I've entered this card in the following challenges:

Crafting Circle - anything-must color
Crea Chicky - Hand colored image
Eclectic Ellapu - Seaside or summer colors
Happy Little Stampers - Watercolor - Blue
One Crazy Stamper - Anything Goes
Paper Players - Summer Fun in the Water

Hope Thistle Cheer You Up!

Here is the 2nd of 3 cards for my July class.

Easy and fast card to make. The background was dry embossed with the Yummy Dots embossing folder on Lavender Fusion Cardstock and the Border Details Die Set was used to die cut the Lace border.

The flowers are from the Thistle Stamp Set and were easily stamped and colored in with matching Lemon Grass and Lavender Fusion reinkers,  and blending solution

All tied up with Lemon Grass Thread.

Rainbow Bubbles It's Your Day Card

I haven't had time be creative lately, BUT, I was so inspired by some of the Beautiful stamps in the Fun Stampers Journey Spring into Summer Catalog, that I just had to play.

The background was stamped with Clear Pigment Ink and then a Blue Pan Pastel wiped over it.

The Fish is Water Colored with Silks on Water Color Paper. Then a Glaze over it with Sparkle cuts added to the scale portion.

Here is a close up of the glazed fish with Sparkle cuts on the scales.
