Beautiful

Double Pocket Christmas Card

We just had about 2 inches of snow. Perfect for a weekend when I don't have to drive in it. And, it's BITTER cold here in Pa.

But, it's just the right amount of snow to look pretty and then go away. Lol

Here is the first of my December Class cards. I hadn't planned on having them make another Christmas card, however, everyone can use a gift card holder.

I used the Fun Stamper's Journey Double Pocket Die Set to make it. The tag at the top is where you can attach the gift card, and the smaller tag below is where you write your message.

I also used the Poinsettia Steel Rule Die to make the poinsettia and leaves on the front.

My Family Christmas Card

It's so hard to believe that the Holidays are just about over already, and I never got our Family Christmas Card Posted. Mainly becasue they are so detailed that I only got all of my cards finished & sent out three days before Christmas. Lol
All products are from Fun Stampers Journey.

The stamp set is called Poinsettia Baskets. This set is gorgeous. This is only one image out of nine in the set. It was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut by hand. Glitter was added for some sparkle.

The black legs that I added to the bottom of the Circle came from the center of the ornament I used in this card

The background was dry embossed with "Love Letter Embossing Folder" which is FREE, as a Bloom Benefit, in the Big Book with a $100 order.  It was sponged over with Oatmeal Cookie ink and splattered with Gold Silk

Peace was stamped and cut from the Holiday Script Stamp & Die set. Then was also die cut from the Mirror Gold cardstock.

Snowman Couple Christmas Card

Welcome back for my third and final card for my November classes.
For this card I started by dry embossing the white background with the Happy Holidays Embossing Folder.

Then a Frame was cut out of Kiwi Slice cardstock using the Die from Snapshot Frames. The word Joy was also cut from the same Die Set.
The Joy was cut from White and Cranberry Bliss Cardstocks and layered to look like snow on top of the word. I added some glitter to the white portion to make the snow glittery.

Tree were stamped on a background panel in Fresh Forest Ink using the Fresh Forest Stamp Se. The sky was colored in with a light blue PanPastel.

For the snow, I used Journey Modeling Paste and topped it off with Journey Sparkle Cuts to make it sparkle.

The Snow Couple, From Snowmen Days was stamped, colored with the Color Burst Pencils and cut out by hand. There is a die for this but I prefer to hand cut.

The Poinsettia was cut from the Poinsettia Steel Rule Die. Then sponged with Cranberry Bliss Ink, adhered together and yellow glitter I found in my stash, was added to the center.

A triple bow was made from Journey Candle Apple Twine and adhered to upper left corner

Snowflake Frame Deer Christmas Card

Welcome back for the second of my three class cards for November.
This card was SO FUN to make.

The magic in my cards all comes from the FUN Tools from Fun Stampers Journey.
I started with a Black Licorice card base. Then I die cut the frame out of Whip Cream cardstock using th Snow Frames Die. This set comes with two dies. The Frame is one and I used the other for the inside of the card.

The front panel trees and the inside tree were stamped with Fresh Forest Fusion Ink using the Sparkle Trim Stamp set. Merry Christmas is from this same set.
The Front Panel is layered on top of a Fresh Forest Cardstock Mat.

The Deer and wreath were Die Cut using the Dashing Deer Die Set that is a Host Exclusive in the Journey Holiday Mini. Only $4.95 with a $150 order.  He was cut out of Black Licorice Cardstock and the wreath from the Silver Mirror paper.

Modeling paste was used for the snow along with Journey Sparkle Cuts for that extra sparkle.

Have a Very Merry Christmas

Hey Everyone, Thanks for checking out my November Class Cards.
Here is the first of three.

It was so hard getting a good picture of this card because of the Mirror cardstock in the ornament. Fun stampers Journey has the BEST Mirror cardstock.

Seriously, I have seen nothing like this. You can literally put your lipstick on with the reflection you get from it.

I had to take many pictures of the card to get a good one because you could see the trees out my window on the reflection of the cardstock.
The FSJ coaches have a sketch challenge each week.  Below is the sketch I used for this.

I first used the piercing die with the Journey rectangles on the actual card front.

I then sponged Lovely blue ink inside the pierced area.
I layered a circle of the Christmas Cheer Prints on a black Licorice Circle.

Then, using the Ornament Swirls Die, I cut out the ornament in the Gold Mirror paper and Black cardstock for the front layer.

The Holly is from the Poinsettia Burst Stamp  and the Sentiment from the Holiday Wishes Set.

I used red glitter paper for the holly berries and topped it with Journey Glaze, and attached it on top of a triple bow of Journey Whip Cream Thread.

The Pine Sprig was cut from the Timeless Foliage Die out of Fresh Forest Cardstock.

Products used:
Journey Rectangles - DI-0041
Journey Circles - DI-0039

Bethlehem Journey

Hi Crafters.  Here is a Christmas card I made today. Very time consuming, but so much fun!!!

Everything on my card is from Fun Stampers Journey.
My stamping first started with with the Vintage Notes Background stamp with Oatmeal Cookie onto Buttercream Cardstock cut to size.

I then stamped the buildings on the right side and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. Then using PanPastels, I colored in the sky and the sand. Because I am making kits with this for my Etsy Shop, I set the PanPastels with hairspray.

I then took a small amout of white Gesso and watered it down and splattered it with a paint brush to look like stars.  I stamped the star and heat embossed with white ep and colored in with glue and clear glitter.
This was then mounted on a slightly larger piece of Journey Brushed Gold Cardstock, then onto the Buttercream Cardstick Base.

Mary & Joseph were stamped with Black Licorice ink, colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.

Autumn Days - Give Thanks

I'm busy working on the cards for my October Classes.
Here is the first of three.
This one was a little time consuming but so much fun to make. All products used are from Fun Stampers Journey.

The card base is Butter Cream and the next layer is Pumpkin Bread.

The background was made using the exclusive FSJ 8.5 x 11 size Gel Press, using Liquid colors of Lemon Drop, Limeade Splash and Rich Coral. I brayered those colors and then used the Falling Petals stencil on top.

I then took what inks were still on the brayer and ran it across the Playful Leaves Background Stamp and applied that on top.

I stamped Give Thanks from the Bountiful Thanks Stamp Set with Cocoa Powder Ink then clear detail embossing powder.
I added some Gold Silk over all.

The leaves were stamped with the Clear Pigment Ink and then colored with Pan Pastels and fussy cut. There is a matching die set for the leaves, but I LOVE to cut buy hand.

I attached a piece of the corrugated paper with the Pumpkin Patch Ribbon on top. I popped up the leaves and added a bow made from the Pumpkin Patch Ribbon.

I then used the Detailed Foliage Die and Gold Mirror paper to add a little more fun detail.

Gel Press, Brayer, stencil, and PanPastels used on this cad, are all on sale at 20% off until the end of September.

Here is the 3rd and last card for my September Card Class.

I first covered my whip cream cardstock with Beachball and Pretty Pansy PanPastels. They are from the Party Pop and Rich Sorbets collection. By the way, Pan Pastels are all on sale, 20% off,  this month only, as well are other select Mix Media products.
Then I inked up the Widow's Web Background Stamp with Clear Pigment Ink and covered with white Embossing Powder and heat set.

The Picture Frame and BOO were cut from the Snapshot Frames Die.  Frame cut in Electric Lime Cardstock and the Boo in Rich Coral and Orange Rave cardstocks.

The Body of the Spider was cut from Black Licorice Cardsock using the 1 3/4" scallop punch and the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. I punched two small white circles and added for base of eyes and the Wiggly eyes on top.
The legs are pieces of Black Licorice Twine with knots tied in each for the foot and knee.

I then finished off the card with a Rock Candy Organza Bow.

I normally don't do this, but,I actually cased this card from another Journey Coach, Jeanne Bobish. Her card was so stinkin' cute that I had to case it.

Creepy Kids Trick Or Treat

Just another card for my September Card Class. This one uses the Fun Stampers Journey "Creepy Kids" Stamp Set. This set comes with a matching die set, but I LOVE fussy cutting, so that's what I did with this card.

The background was dry embossed with the Spooky Bold Embossing Folder on River Stone Cardstock. Then, using the large Sponge Dauber Dowel, I sponged River Stone ink lightly over the raised area just for a little more dimension.

On top of that I cut a piece of the "Fall Fest Prints" and backed it with a piece of Black Licorice Cardstock.

At the very bottom, I stuck down a strip of the Black Licorice Sparkle Tape to help ground the kids.

The circle for the Sentiment was die cut using the Journey Circles. Then stamped the Trick Or Treat with Black Licorice Ink. Using my finger, I added just a very small amount of the Pineapple Smoothie PanPastels then some of the silver Silk over card front.

The kids were stamped with Black Licorice Ink & colored using the Journey Color Burst Pencils and Popped them up.

Finally to finish off the card, I made a triple bow using the Journey Lemongrass Thread with an Orange Toil & trouble button in center.
