Florentine Birthday Card

Here is one of the Hand Stitched cards I made for the Silent Auction for Operation Smile at the Close to my Heart Convention. I made a total of 8 cards for the auction. You can see another of the cards in the previous post.
I was so excited because my 8 cards sold for a total of $275. CTMH has some very generous consultants contributing to this great charity. It cost $240 for the surgery for one child. I was very pleased to be a part of making one child smile again.

The Hand Stitching around the card was done with matching Embroidery Floss. The ribbon is also hand stitched for the puckered design. The rose was made by using the Close to my Heart exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. The papers are from the CTMH Florentine paper pack.

Challenge Blogs I'm submitting this card to:
OLLCB - 1 image, 2 dp's, 3 embellishments
SCS Technique Lovers Challenge - Hand Pleated or Ruched Ribbon.
