Beautiful Day Pink Daisy Card

Thanks for stopping by. Here is the second of my three cards for my April Card Class.

My card uses the Love Life Stamp Set that is in the FSJ April Bloom Box. Unfortunately, this beautiful set is only available until April 31st. 
This is similar to one of the cards in the kit, but I put my own spin on it. 

The cardstock and ink for the flowers is Outrageous Pink. It's actually from the Be Amazing Collection.

White cardstock was dry embossed using the FSJ Diamond Netting Folder.  Then splattered with Gold Silk. Some was also splattered on the sentiment tag.

The Flowers were stamped with thTe Outrageous Pink True Fusion Ink and the leaves were colored in with the Journey Color Burst Pencils. 

The Fern leaves were cut with Sweet Pear Cardstock using the Timeless Foliage Steel Rule Die. 

The tag was cut from Everyday Tags, a Die Set that will be retiring the end of June. 
The Sentiment, which is from the same stamp set, was heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I added some of the Clear Pigment ink around the edges of the tag also, and used the same Gold Embossing Powder. 

As a finishing touch, I added Journey Lemongrass Thread under the one flower and added Journey glaze and Sparkle cuts in the center of each flower.

Gold Gilding Flakes Cards

Well, I've been away for the past three month and now I'm back with my class cards for April. 

 OR

Gilding flakes are fun to play with but can be quite messy if you're not careful. I have found out through, that the Leaf Foils from Fun Stampers Journey (FSJ), are less messy then other brands. The sheets are larger and easier to handle. This is perfect for teaching my classes where so many people will be using it at the same time.  And for those of you that do mot like MESS. 

First step in this card was to cut a piece of FSJ White Liner Sheets, 3 3/4" x 5". 

1" X 4" strips of FSJ Sunday Adventure Prints were cut from 3 different designs of DP, as well as two colors of cardstock.

These strips were then placed on the sticky piece of white liner sheet leaving a slight gap between strips. Then the Gold Leaf foil was worked into all of the sticky gaps. 

When finished, it was then layered onto a Forest Green Matt.

The sentiment and mat were cut from the Treat Labels and Piercing Dies. 

The Happy Birthday is from the NEW FSJ stamp set, Inside and Out..

The flower and leaves were cut using the Blooming Details Die Set with Lemon Grass & Bubblegum cardstock and Mirror Gold Cardstock.

Storybook Occasions - Wish You Luck

Here is the 3rd and last card for my January Card Class. 

I also made several variations of this same card. Included in the FSJ Storybook Occasions stamp set are the sentiments, Thinking of You, Happy Birthday, Happy Easter, Wish You Luck, & Be Mine. 

The images was stamped with Black Fusion Ink and colored with FSJ Color Burst Pencils.

The paper is from Through The Year Prints. Two sheets of cardstock weight designer paper for Each Month/Holiday. 

The embellishments of this card are three green Rainbow Drops in upper left corner and a triple bow with Lemongrass Thread. 

The background was dry embossed using the Corrugated Board EF.

The background around the image was colored with Pan Pastels.

Spring Botanicals - Thinking of You

Another COLD and snowy day here on the East Coast. 

So, THINKING SPRING!!!

Here is my second card for my January Class. This is a NEW stamp set from the FSJ, Bloom This Way Spring Mini. 
The stamp set is called Spring Botanicals. It's one of the trending new design of stamps for the No Line look. 
All products are from Fun Stampers Journey.

I stamped the two flowers in Summer Days Fusing ink and colored in the light portion with the yellow from the Party Pop PanPastels. 

The other flower was stamped with Sweet Berry Fusion Ink.  No need to color this one since it will be layered. 

I used the masking technique when stamping the flowers and then masked all the flowers to stamp the foliage.

I stamped the pink flower two more times on scrap paper. The light portion was colored in with the light pink from the Confectionary Days Panpastels. and then cut out. 
The smaller one, I just cut out the smaller part of the flower. I sponged the edges with Sweet Berry ink and them layered with thin foam tape. 

The "Thinking of You is from the Embroidered Greetings Stamp Set.

Storybook Occasions - Easter

It's 5° outside here in PA, with snow coming tomorrow and I'm making Easter Cards. I'm thinking Spring. *Ü*

This is the first of three cards for my January Card Class. 
I'm showcasing cards made with New Products from the Bloom This Way Mini Catalog that runs from January 1st to March 31st.  You can pick one up for yourself for only $3.95 by clicking on the link above. 

All products are Fun Stamps Journey.

I first used the Mystic Impression Embossing Folder for the Background. Then splattered Cool Pool and Sparkle Silk on the background. The Sparkle Silk does not show up on pictures. 
The cardstock is Cool Pool. The designer paper is "Spring Filled Prints".

I used the Treat Label Dies and piercing Dies and stamped the chick and eggs from the Storybook Occasion Stamp Set. 
I colored it all in with the Color Burst Pencils.

To finish off the card, I made a triple Bow out of Whip Cream Thread and topped it with a Orange Rainbow Drop.

Summer Rose - Valentine

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Time to start making the Valentine cards. 

This card can be for any occasion, but I stamped Happy Valentines Day for my December card class. 

This is the third and last card for my December class using a new stamp set and new dies. 

All products are from Fun Stampers Journey. 

I embossed the background with the Brocade Imprints Embossing folder. You can get this folder free with any purchase of $100.00. 

I sponged over it with Oatmeal Cookie Fusion ink. Then I splattered it with Gold and Sparkle Silk. 

The stamp set is called "Summer Rose". I stamped it with Rich Coral Ink onto Summer  Days Cardstock. I cut it out by hand and sponged around the edges of the rose with Rich Coral ink. The leaves are stamped with Limeade Splash and Kiwi Slice. 

The sentiment was stamped with Rich Coral ink onto Summer Days Cardstock cut out using the Treat Label die and piercing die and stamped with the Annual Celebration Stamp Set.

Dear Rose - Love You Card

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE

Here is the second of my December card class.  This is my Valentine/Love class. All products are from FSJ.

The image is a Fun Stampers Journey Stamp Set called "Dear Rose" The sentiment is also from this set as well as Miss You, and Hello. 

I stamped the rose on Bubble Gum Cardstock using Rich Coral Fusion Ink. 

The leaves were stamped on Limeade Splash Cardstock with Fresh Forest Fusion ink.

The Love You was also stamped with Frest Forest Ink and heart embossed with clear embossing powder.

The background was stamped with Vintage Notes Background Stamp using Oatmeal Cookie Fusion Ink. 

Beautiful 

I cut the Doily using the Doily Die and Rich Coral Cardstock. 

The triple bow was made with the Journey Gold Thread. This thread is a neutral color with gold threads woven through it. 

Journey Sequins Pink World adorns the bottom of the card. 

Double Pocket Christmas Card

We just had about 2 inches of snow. Perfect for a weekend when I don't have to drive in it. And, it's BITTER cold here in Pa. 

But, it's just the right amount of snow to look pretty and then go away. Lol

Here is the first of my December Class cards. I hadn't planned on having them make another Christmas card, however, everyone can use a gift card holder.

I used the Fun Stamper's Journey Double Pocket Die Set to make it. The tag at the top is where you can attach the gift card, and the smaller tag below is where you write your message. 

I also used the Poinsettia Steel Rule Die to make the poinsettia and leaves on the front.

My Family Christmas Card

It's so hard to believe that the Holidays are just about over already, and I never got our Family Christmas Card Posted. Mainly becasue they are so detailed that I only got all of my cards finished & sent out three days before Christmas. Lol

All products are from Fun Stampers Journey. 

The stamp set is called Poinsettia Baskets. This set is gorgeous. This is only one image out of nine in the set. It was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut by hand. Glitter was added for some sparkle.

The black legs that I added to the bottom of the Circle came from the center of the ornament I used in this card. 

The background was dry embossed with "Love Letter Embossing Folder" which is FREE, as a Bloom Benefit, in the Big Book with a $100 order.  It was sponged over with Oatmeal Cookie ink and splattered with Gold Silk. 

Peace was stamped and cut from the Holiday Script Stamp & Die set. Then was also die cut from the Mirror Gold cardstock.
