A Waltzing Mouse Blog Waltz!

I can't believe I almost missed this Blog Waltz. I've had my first set of Waltzing Mouse stamps for several weeks now and have yet to use them. That really shows the funk I've been in. When I saw this on my friend Lisa's Blog, I got so excited I had to go and create a card. I just hope I have enough time to submit it.

I used a sketch from this weeks Truly Scrumptious sketch Challenge.

The designer papers are from K and Company.
The ribbon, half pearls and buttons are from Close to my Heart.

The Waltzin Mouse stamp set I used is called Spring Baskets. I stamped the images three times with memento black ink then colored them with Copic Markers. I cut them out and layered with some foam take for a 3D look.
The daffodils have yellow stickles on them for a little sparkle.

I added some punched flowers, half pearls and some Hand Stitching with embroidery floss for the finishing touches..

HERE ARE SOME OTHER CHALLENGES FOR THIS CARD:
Stamp Something Layered Challenge - Lots of layeres here.
Paper Sundae - Make a card with anything but people
Paper Jewels April Challenge - Sewing and Buttons.
Pile It On - Spring is finally here!
Aly's Sunday Challenge - Buttons
All Sorts - Stitching
Creative Inspiration - 3 flowers, 2 dps, 1 ribbon

This is so beautiful! You came out of your funk with a real creative burst. There are so many details in this little work of art - a lot of effort went into this. Hand-sewing! Love the way the sentiment is on the side. The 3-Dness of the flowers and basket. The pearls in the corners of the scallops. The colours all tie together wonderfully. I am so glad I got to see this!
