FSS - Easter Chicky
Here is another of my creations using a Fred Shew Said Pre-colored Digi Image. The inspiration for this card started with a sketch challenge over at My Time Made Easy. It fit perfectly with this fabulaous image. I chose not to include an Easter Sentiment on the front becasue I thought it woudl also make the curtest Baby Card. I like to keep my options open.
The image is called Easter Chicky from Fred She Said and comes in a digi for you to color or the pre-colored images that come in 8 different colors. I printed the image and portions of the image three time. I then fussy cut and have layered three times with foam tape.
The papers I used are from the Florentine Paper Pack from Close to my Heart.
The ribbon for the bow is actually Color Ready Seam Binding that I colored with a sponge dauber and three colors that match the paper pack.
The hand stitching throughout the card was done with matching embroidery floss.

Hello Nancy
You are correct in thinking this would be a great Baby card, it is just beautiful, and I love to fussy cut, so know how much time and effort it takes, your added elements with the stitching and flourish of pearls make it that little more special, I think you have made a great BABY card out of an Easter chick!
Thank you so very much for joining us this week at Our Creative Corner,we are so delighted to see your work.
Smiles:)
Simply beautiful, well not simply I guess, but my goodness is this gorgeous Nancy!!
What an absolutely beautiful card! The papers are just devine! and I agree with leaving the easter sentiment off. Because it does make a perfect baby card! Your coloring of the digi image is professional and clean. I love the added pearls at the top.
