Here is a card using one of the new Digi stamps from
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps called
Noses 4 Sale. Christmas is only two months away. You can pick up this digi image on sale today and start making your Christmas cards with it immediately. If you've never used Digi images before they are so simple to use. They take up less space then stamps and you can make them any size that you need and use them over and over again.
Take a look at the inside of my card. I made the image much smaller to add just a little embellishment to the bottom left corner of my card.
I used the Saturday Sketch from
The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Blog for the design of my card. Why not hop on over there and join in the sketch fun. You can use any stamps you want and you could win $10 towards Digi stamps.
The sketch challenge was to be with a spin to recycle. Well, the best I could do with recycling was the three words "Let it Snow" was something I had printed on my computer some time ago that turned out too small. so I used them here. The snowflakes were also punched from throw away scraps. The half pearls were white and I made them match with my Copic Markers.
My images are all colored with Copic Markers. Yes, they are quite pricey, but the coloring results are so much better then regular markers. After they are colored, they are cut out and layered for a 3D affect. The bucket of noses is cut out three times.
The snow in the sky and on the ground is liquid applique that was heated to puff it then chunky glitter was added to the snow and the snowman.
The stitching inside and out of the card is all done by hand with my own unique stitch. I think it kinda looks like snowflakes!!! *Ü*
