Blue Pansies Mother's Day Card
I was playing around again with some Fred She Said digi images. This one is Blue Pansies in a Tea Cup. I also used the butterflies from "Butterflies Doodle Dallions"
I used some of my retired CTMH cardstock, Sky and Star Spangled Blue.
My friend Crystal got me hooked on We R Memory Keepers Next Level Embossing Folders. The one I used, I think, Is the Basket Weave.

Christmas Rose and Candles
Tis the season for Christmas Card making!
My card today is using a fantastic pre-colored digi from Fred She Said called Christmas Rose.
I used a set of Spellbinder dies to cut image and mat.
The rose was fussy cut twice. Once with leaves and one just the rose. These were layered with foam tape to add some dimension.
Red glitter was added to all the tiny red berried and then to the holly berries in the upper corners. Orange and yellow glitter was used on the candle flames. Clear Wink of Stella was used on the rose for a little extra shimmer.
The sentiment and papers are from some of my retired stash from Close to my Heart. Sentiment was heat embossed for a raised affect.
Challenges for this card:
Glitter 'n' Sparkle - Use some Red
Scrapbook Blessings - Use Red, Green and White
Great Impressions - Bling on the Holidays
The Glory of Christmas - Glitter and/or Shine
Lacy Sunshine - Tic Tac Toe - I actually used all options but one
Digi's Designs - Bow, Die Cuts, Flowers

Another Old Truck Father's Day Card
I simply LOVE this Old Truck Image from Fred She Said. And since it comes as a digi and also in four pre-colored images, I thought I'd use the Blue Truck today.
The starting inspirations for this card started with a sketch from Sketchy Colors.
Once I had the sketch and the image I thought I was set for an easy peasy card. WRONG! So many indecisions followed. For some reason, I just did not like just the plain blue dot "Wanderful" background paper. So after about an hour of walking back and forth and looking at the design, I dug out an old retired CTMH stamp set with pine trees. Wala!!! Just what it needed.
But then I didn't like the horizontal strip of designer paper I chose for right behind the truck, which was the flip side of the blue dot paper. So, I switched from the dark print to green cardstock and dry embossed with a wood grain embossing folder
The Happy Father's Day is from the CTMH Holiday Tags Stamp Set.
It's amazing how what started out as being a 10 minute card turned out to take several hours. I sure wish I wasn't such a perfectionist.
Here is the sketch I used.

I marched them up with some great Spellbinder dies and wala, a great card.

I Love You This Much!
Here is another "Love" card. Yes, I made this as a Valentine. But the more I looked at it, I thought this would be a wonderful card any time of the year for the Love of your Life.Or, an Anniversary card. Especially if made in a different color.
I actually printed the image twice. Then I fussy the hair and the dress and layered it with foam tape for lots of added dimension.
The image is "I Love You This Much" from Fred She Said. This is the pre-colored image and it comes in 6 different colors and the sentiment.
I used some New Spellbinder Dies I just received. I just love these new intricate frilly dies. I also used an old MS Corner punch.
The beginning inspiration started with a sketch from Sketch Saturday.

Christmas Candle and Rose - Fred She Said
Here's another Christmas card for you. This one uses a pre-colored Christmas Rose and Candle from Fred She Said.
I made another Easel Card. They are very addicting. Especially when you don't want to make your focal image smaller and still want to add a sentiment. However, taking a really good picture isn't that easy.
The rose is actually layered twice on top of the original.
The sentiment is from Stampin' Up, which was stamped and heat embossed.

Craft-Dee Bowz - Anything with a bow
Dream Valley - Anything

Christmas Cardinal - Fred She Said
My card today is a Christmas Card using the pre-colored images from Fred She Said called Christmas Cardinal. I added dots of Liquid Applique when the snow dotsw are on the image and then covered with Fine Prisma Glitter for just a little added sparkle.
When I was designing this card, I was going to put the sentiment below the image, but I didn't want the pretty dry embossed Holly to be covered. So I decided to make an Easel Card instead.
The sentiment is from an old retired stamp set from Close to my Heart and the Red Enamel Hearts and some new embellishments for CTMH also.
This card worked perfectly for using up some of my scraps of cardstock and ribbon.
Challenges for this card:
Bearly Mine - Christmas
Christmas Cards All Year Round - No DP
Crafters Companion - Christmas
Crafty Hazelnut - Christmas
Die Cut Diva's - Any Holiday
Live and Love Crafts - Favorite Christmas Colors

FSS Cornflowers
My card today uses another of the new images just released at Fred She Said. This is the Cornflower and comes pre-colored or a digi to color yourself.
My inspiration started with a sketch from Sketch File.
I have a wedding to go to next month and I have a stamp set called Life time of Happiness from CTMH, that I thought would be perfect for a wedding card. I think it goes well with the FSS Cornflowers.
The cornflowers were fussy cut and layered on top of the original flowers for added dimension.
I added some Hand Stitching around the card using a matching color embroidery floss, keeping the color subtle as to not take away from this beautiful image.

Fred She Said is having an End of Summer Sale and my card uses one of the newest images, Scribbled Roses released this week. These beautiful pre-colored flowers come in 11 different colors. This image also comes as a line image to color yourself. These come as individual flowers, but I used the PNG version to group three different colors together.
I used the sketch challenge from Mojo Monday for my starting inspiration.
I added some hand stitching around the edges for some added dimension.

Emma and the Cake
Well, it's just a little over three weeks until Spring begins. I can't wait. Here in Pennsylvania, we've been bombarded with so much snow this month and they're calling for a little more tomorrow night. Every winter I go through a depression but this year is worse then ever. My passion is card making and it's even been a struggle to do this lately. However, my beautiful Granddaughter Mya celebrated her 7th birthday Saturday, so I made her a very special card. It actually did feel good to create again.
My card today was created with a pre-colored imaged from Fred She Said called "Emma and the Cake".
Mya's favorite color right now is Pink. So I started out with the Pink Emma and matched it up with The Lollydoodle Paper pack from Close to my Heart.
The Happy Birthday is from the Holiday Tags stamp set from CTMH. This is my "Go To" stamp set most of the time. Great sentiments and matching tags.
The pink Hearts and small flowers were punched form the Pink Glitter Papers. The Green banner was cut from the Green Glitter Papers. The hearts and banner were hung from the Pink bakers twine form the Paradise assortment.
Pink Glitter Gems were added to the center of the flowers.
Challenges for this card:
Seize the Birthday - Use hearts on Birthday card.
Catered Crop - Birthday
One Stitch at a Time - Girly
Quirky Crafts - Pile it on & 3D
Ink on My Fingers - Have a Heart

Nolan & the Bull Frog
I used the same sketch from the Deconstructed Sketch Blog, for this card and my last post.
The design of this sketch was just perfect for the images plus, I have many rolls of glitter tape in many different colors so I wanted to finally use them.

I Love Mom - Valentine
Here's a Valentine that I thought I might make for my 4 year old grandson to give his Mommy for Valentines Day. I used the Fred She Said pre-colored image called Nolan with a Sign. There are five different signs plus a blank one that goes with this digi set.
I had a new paper pack from Close to my Heart called Skylark. I just thought this coerner of the paper would go perfect with this image.
I have just started getting back into Hand Stitching on my cards and so I dod so on this one. I also used a brand new Spellbinder's die.
Other challenges for this card:
Bunny Zoe's - Stitching
