So much to do and so little time. That has been my life this week. I had four Birthday cards to make this week and since they were all for family, they took longet to make. I posted my Daughter-in-law's yesterday and my two grandson's on my CTMG Blog. So this is the last one. It's for my Son-in-law. It's really hard making a card for him. Actually, making masculine cards is something I don't enjoy doing. By he and my husband wend out golfing today so I relied on an old CTNG stamp set called Tee Time4 to make his card.
The inspiration for this card came from a sketch at Flourishes. I love the sketch and wanted to play along with flourishes stamps, but had to make this card so I used the sketch for it. Maybe I'll get a chance next week to make another.
I stamped the golf bag twice and cut out the secong one to layer with foam tape for more dimension. I used an image of a golf ball on place of the bow in the sketch. There was also an image of a small golf ball so I used two of them next to the Happy Birthday. I used Liquid Glass on all three Gold Balls.
The papers are form the Cherry-O Creative Basics pack from Close to my Heart.
The Hand Stitching was done with matching Embroidery Floss.
