FSS Ornament

Happy Halloween to all you Ghosts and Gobblins!

Here is todays post with another Christmas Card. I jusy LOVE making Christmas cards and this year I have so many gorgeous images to use. This is a new Digi Image from Fred She Said called Christm,as Ornament

I just got this new Cuttlebug embossing folder hat is actuallu a frame. I then printed the ornament twice the size to fit the Spellbinder oval scallop and colored them with Copic Markers. I cut out one of the ornaments and the holly and layered it with foam tape for added dimension.

I then printed Season's Greetings to fit another spellbinder die. The sentiment came from the Christmas Rose Digi Set, which actually has many different sentiments. And, this set can be purchased as a Digi or pre-colored images. They are absolutely Gorgeous.

I sometimes have a hard time just stopping. So I cropped out all of the image except for some of the Holly, then printed four sets of holly, colored them with copics, cut them out and mounted them on all four colors.

The Hand Stitching was done with Red Embroidery Floss.
I've had several people ask me how I do the stitching. I plan it out on paper the size I need and just play with a design then pierce the holes before stitching. This was a new pattern I worked out and it seemed to take forever to get everything even. BUT, I love doing it so it's well worth my time.

The cardstock and the background paper is from the Mistletoe paper pack from Close to my Heart.
